actually a 63mhz pentium overdrive, which is a pentium jammed onto a 486's bus, but close enough; it's usually equal or worse compared to an overclocked AM5x86 that would've been typical for this machine

Voron 0.1, 300mm/s

Voron 0.1, built from a cheap kit, with lots of bad-quality clone parts. added a glass bed, and a Bondtech CHT nozzle. even with the bad parts, if i get things aligned and fed properly, it still runs nice.

this video shows it printing a calibration cat at 300mm/s, with a bit of slowdown for overhangs (manual adjustment), travel at 800mm/s. the video is real-time and unaltered, and was taken and uploaded directly from my Galaxy Fold 3.

const-z rendering again, but the detection has been fixed to work with positive and negative zeroes, so it's much more reliable (and faster). also made it color the viable surfaces red

testing a new feature for 486quake, where perfectly horizontal surfaces can be detected and optimized with a constant-z rendering algorithm (a la snes's mode7 graphics, or how doom renderer works)

this is testing only the detection - surfaces that could be optimized are rendered in plain grey instead of their normal texture.

this recording is done with cl_rollangle set to 0, which disables part of the view bobbing done by quake - the optimization is able to happen more often with this off.
