Where ever your source computer is if you are using any Linux Distro like Linux Mint or Android, you can use this command to copy your files and all your data easily. rsync helps you to update your backup so you don't need to worry about what you need to copy. Just use rsync for updata with -u and you will get all that is missing in your backup or on your system. You need to have access using SSH if you want to copy your data from Remote Computer. Just setup your SSH on both systems and it is just easy as it is shown in this video.
