<description>Instructions These are video instructions for assembling a BusKill Cord with a 3D printed Magnetic Coupler for USB-A. A BusKill cable is used with BusKill software to automatically trigger a security action when a USB ejection event is detected. The security action could be logging the person out, shutting down the computer, or for the most sensitive situations, wiping the drive. Many are familiar with kill cords from their use in treadmills. The cord is usually attached to the treadmill by a magnet and to the person by velcro. If the cord detaches from the treadmill, it immediately halts, providing safety for the runner. The magnetic coupler on the BusKill cord performs the same functionality, allowing for a USB-A powered #security cord that triggers if you are separated from your computer.
