Theyre similar to VMs but lightweight like Docker and perfect for homelabs.* Well briefly cover the similarities and differences between application containers system containers and VMs then well shift our focus to LXD a tool created by Canonical that facilitates easy management of both system containers through LXC and VMs through QEMU. Well go through installation setup and the basics of actually running a Go application in a LXD system container.</description>
