<description>Flashing lights warning Decided to perform "Years Go By" live to backing tracks in my studio and turn it into a New Year's Eve video. This was performed, recorded and edited within a span of 12 hours on Dec. 30-31, 2023. This is a challenging song for me to sing because of the high notes, and everything is a challenge for me to play because I'm not even a decent live performer...but I think this came out OK. The backing tracks cover up a lot, thankfully. Of course, not being used to performing live to backing tracks, I kind of mistimed a chord change at the end because I was thrown off by everything else stopping. And that kind of stuff is why I don't play live shows. The studio version is on my album, Looking for the Light, released in March 2023. Free stock videos by Videezy.com.
